By using Chess Clock (the “App”), available at chess-clock.app and on the Apple App Store, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Chess Clock is a chess timer application that supports all major time controls including Fischer, Bronstein, Byoyomi, and Canadian. The App is available as a native iOS application and as a web companion for live spectating. Features include time control presets, live sharing, and real-time spectating.
You are responsible for any content you create within the App, including match names and player names. By using the Live Sharing feature, you acknowledge that shared clock data is temporarily stored on our servers and accessible to anyone with the share code.
You agree not to:
iOS app: Your clock data is stored on your device.
Live Sharing: Shared clock data is stored temporarily in Firebase. We may delete inactive shared data after 30 days.
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Time accuracy depends on device performance.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
